My thing about this is, why in the world do I have to hear the President of the United States lecturing to me about my PERSONAL LIFE?!

Here’s a clue, Oba-Moi: the job of the President is to make PUBLIC POLICY. Public, as in, the public sector? Out of the house? Like, in the midst of other people? Schools, roads and suchlike? Ringing a bell, Barack?

So how in the name of the Giant Green Lizard is the alleged fathering failures of the American people any of your FUCKING BUSINESS?

I don’t understand why people find this type of moralizing appropriate in any way. The President is not a spiritual leader. He’s not Jesus, Gandhi or Martin Luther King Jr. As Hillary said during the primaries, it was LBJ who signed the Civil Rights Act because it was HIS JOB to make public policy. It was not his job to lecture people on how to live their lives.

I recall reading early on, that Michelle was complaining that he was never around. And, the funny thing is, his jobs were basically part time, weren’t they? Anyway, apparently she felt he was too busy doing his political thing. Now that he has a serious full-time job and the kids are older, it’s like Leave it to Beaver all the time in the White House. It really, REALLY grates on me when he sets himself up as the great example all of the time. My goodness, how did any of us manage to raise a family before he came along?!

I don’t think there is anything wrong with her being called ma’am because the general is used to calling females in higher positions ma’am. It is a respectful word. I don’t think he intended to disrespect her.

Uppity, I get so sick of his play-acting and production-mounting over every little thing highlighting his psychological issues I could scream. You can’t just blame Axelrove, either, because unless he has Obie’s balls in a ben-wa case, the pretendident has to co-sign every “stick in a thumb see what a good dad am I” piece of public fiction at his daughters’ expense. Like the photo-op dog, and Halloween trick or treating, or the Hawaiian trip to Sea World, and all the other “press availabilities” where he might as well be picking the girls up by their ears like LBJ’s dog. Why does he get to preach to grown men about their responsibilities after his handpicked biographer reported, but colored over, his own marital woes, supposedly based on the fact that his wife resented being left to parent alone? How is a guy more preoccupied with running around trying to look important than spending quality time with his family worthy of preaching paternal propriety?
See a psychologist and a marriage counselor on the downlow, then, real nicely-like, ask Unca David for your balls back, and shut up and let people live their own lives, Mr. Pretendident. The view into your glass house ain’t so damned rosy.
