Muddied Waters

Where’s the outrage from the left?  Gays?  Women? Uninsured people?  That’s the question being asked by Barack’s Bewildered and everybody else nowadays.  That, and, “what the hell happened?”  The Sheeple are finally starting to “wake up and get it,” and they don’t like it.  Not one little bit.

That’s what they get for electing a guy just because he’s brown.

The outrage is where it’s always been, right here in the PUMAsphere.  Yep, us angry old bitter knitters have been righteously indignant for so long it’s almost starting to get old.  The only thing that’s fresh is the wind-twisting of the Under The Bussers.”  Those finger-pointing, childish, raspberry blowing Nyah Nanna Na Na Crowd are now experiencing the difficulty of trying to navigate their own self constructed labyrinth in shoes on the other foot.  Now, the David Letterman jokes don’t seem as funny as they did when Bill Maher was telling them about Hillary Clinton.  Where were these people when Jon Favreau was groping Hillary Clinton’s cardboard tit?  Predictably defending Obie’s frat boy brain for just being a boy, that’s where.  Boys will be what they are, after all.  So, what’s the diff now that the “boy” has gray hair?

It couldn’t just be because the world loves Sarah Palin more than Hillary.  Those same folks who are wondering where the outrage is weren’t looking for it when Palin was being hanged in effigy, any more than they were when Hillary nutcrackers were all the rage, or Sandra Bernhardt was calling for big black men to rape the good governor, or the evil Hillary was making men cross their legs in defense of her castration-by-telepathy potential.  She was just everybody’s “squeaky-voiced ex-wife” who couldn’t “run her own house,” whose “claws came out” when she’s “periodically down” back then.  Nothing to get upset about.  Just brush it off your shoulders, scratch your cheek, and ignore the fucking whore.  And that cunt Palin, too.  And, if you wanna be president, it wouldn’t hurt to open your legs and show your package off now nad then, too.

The DOMA shenanigans have finally woken some of the deluded denizens of ObamaNation to the fact that Pretendident McDreamy has more flip flops to his credit than a Spring Break beach house, and even manages to make John Kerry look consistent. Why is that more egregious than FISA, or FOCA not being a legislative priority?  Who’s fault is it that the KoolAid Kidz sleepwalked through the Rick Warren brouhaha, and didn’t look into the meaning of Leah Daughtry’s co-opting the “faith-based” banner on behalf of the faith-pimping community organizer’s Obacrats?  How come “Hussein”’s not a smear anymore?

When us irrational Bible clinging Clintonistas were bitching about caucus fraud, “small donor” myths, and the injustice of rewarding a guy for not competing by gifting him his opponent’s delegates, we were castigated, belittled, abused, threatened, demeaned and ridiculed.  When we refuted the ridiculous accusations of racism, and pointed out the deliberate, twisted logic exploitation of the nation’s troubled racial legacy for fun and profit, we were simply called bigots by more Obots using louder voices.

If it was just basement-dwelling post-adolescents commandeering Mom’s Mac, one hand nonsense typing on their Cheetoh-stained keyboards, it wouldn’t be so bad.  A few threats to cut off some allowances and take away some car keys, and a lot of that kind of behavior is corrected lickety split.  Some well-timed demands for rent, housework and proper personal grooming and hygiene, or face eviction, and most of the nose pickers’ politics are pretty effectively nullified.  It’s the effective use of well funded AstroTurf by Madison Avenue sock puppetry campaigns that have been hardest to combat.

But, Obaganda can only take you so far.  Sooner or later somebody claps or snaps their fingers at the wrong time and the post-hynotic spell is broken.  And, though you might be embarassed that friends and strangers laughed while you clucked like a chicken in your stained undershorts, you can’t escape the fact that you did.  Such is the New Obot Reality.  The facts have always been what they are now, Barack Obama is a woefully inexperienced, unprepared, unqualified Sepia Spokesmodel dedicated to the proposition that his bamboozling ends justify any means necessary.  He has never won a fairly contested political race in his life.  And, now he’s your president.

So, when SEIU/stimulus, or Government Motors, or freedom of choice, or civil rights, or gay marriage rights, or banker bailout paybacks, or any other Obama lies, flip flops and just plain old dirt under the AstroTurf bullshit surfaces and has you non-PUMAs scratchin’ your head as to the license plate of the bus that just hit you head-on and threw you under it, re-read this, this, this, this, and this comment from Day One PUMA, Pat Johnson, posted over at The Widdershins and get a clue:

I just finished “Bloggers on the Bus” by Eric Boehert. The few things I came away with are the following:

1. The “progressives” were actively engaged in purging the Dem Party of all things Clinton. Period. That was the main objective overall.

2. Much of the online commentators at Kos, et al, are basically made up of under 30’s who felt “cool” in supporting the black candidate with little or no regard to his actual credentials. It did not matter. Clinton bad!

3. The so called “progressives” who bashed and battered Bush for 8 years and cried vociferously against his Faith Based policies, his anti female positions, his cry to go to war, and the FISA rulings, were all too willing to overlook this in Obama because “he would roll back these policies once in office”. Why? Because he said so. Period.

4. Women “approved” the misogyny, hatred, and backlash unleashed against Hillary because they bought into the scenario that had been painted against her by the Right Wing and getting her out of the way paved the ascendency of The One. Her credentials, especially on female issues, were considered part of the “old way”. He represents “the new”.

5. McCain was a disaster from the outset and it was an almost surety that any Dem candidate could defeat him in 2008. He never bothered to vet Palin.

6. The country as a “progressive nation” is being held back by the tentacle of the Religious Right and though the progressive blogs hated this in Bush they are willing to allow Obama the “11th dimensional chessgame” but do so with their fingers crossed.

7. They climbed onboard an inspirational movement without any idea of what that movement or the candidate entailed. Just waiting to exhale at this point.

These are some of the reasons why today we are looking at Bush 3. Few bothered to listen or take into account what was looming in front of them all along. They wanted to be seen as “cool” while remaining basically uninformed.
