I think his shout out and Koran references to the Muslim world is to make the fan bozs thrill about how cosmopolitan and worldly he is. Strangely, though, I think you are right in inferring that he does know more about Islam than Christianity. You can bet that there are a few people out there that know the real truth-but, I’m sure they have been co-opted or otherwise managed. So I’m a newbie but I’ve been reading and appreciating your blog for some time now, Cinnie.

This is a great topic (I really never quite understood Obama’s TRUE religious leanings or original background) and felt intuitively that he probably co-opted religion, just like he co-opts his family, friends, political parties, youth, black, and white people (I don’t know about Latinos and Asians because he and his handlers seemed to ignore those communities until much later in the primary game). Anyway, thanks for throwing the meat and potatoes out onto the table, since the MSM normally serves up rather light fare concerning Obama’s history.

Your posts are always funny and fearless and data-packed.

You also seem to have a huge capacity to create new satirical Obama-verbiage. My favorite is “Pertendident” and for today’s essay… I really liked “Obamalama Ding Dong”

She isn’t getting the cheer leading you would expect from the NYTs. You might be right, she might be a centrist because otherwise they would be explaining to the masses – on their front page, how when she farts it smells like a spring meadow

But – in the references that Skeptics Annotated Bible considers “good stuff”, there are 20 mentionings of “don’t lie” in the Bible. In the Koran there are but 2:

But really, I shouldn’t pick just one quote, because there are so many that are quote-worthy, and which help me understand the American society in all it’s multicoloured diversity.

One thing though, we don’t seem to agree on, is that this is all Obama’s doing. I really don’t believe that he is the one(heh!) that singlemindedly decides!

So what I also speculate about is:
What’s the advantage of this pandering to the Muslim world to Obama’s backers. What’s in it for the men behind the curtain?

(And I looove “grandiloquence”, “ObaMessiah”, “He Who Must Ne’er Be Mocked” – speaking of which: Whatever you can say about Jon Stewart: When he is good, he is awesome ! Wish he had shown that during the election.)

And I, like you, to a very high degree blame the 4th State of Power for not doing their job and thereby being accomplice in Obama’s rise to power.
